There were a few occupations on that list that I wasn't aware could sign passports.For example,I would never have thought that the optician was one of them.

According to that list I "could possibly" sign em too but I wouldn't sign Accymels, she's enough trouble in this country without letting her loose abroad
I'm safe, she's not on to reply, maybe this will tempt her back eh

My brother and sister-in-law are retired opticians and I'm a soon-to-be retired Civil Servant. Does this mean that we are/will be no longer Pillars?

Don't worry, by the time you have retired global warming will have kicked in and no-one will need a passport anymore, it'll be scorching in the UK
