We tend to assume that 100% of them are above reproach until we hear of something like this and then we start to wonder. There could still be others we don't know about. It's like the vicars and choirboys thing. Many years ago, when I was in my teens, there was a Baptist minister who seemed like a lovely old chap. He was married and had grandchildren. He just seemed to be a normal lovely and lovable elderly gentleman. Then one day he gave me a lift home and put his arm round me in the car, I thought he was just being affectionate and 'huggy' as a lot of people in his church were but then he leaned over to kiss me and I felt disgusted and creepy. I just never wanted to be near him again. I'm not saying he meant anything bad by it but it just felt SO WRONG to me and I was extremely uncomfortable.
