This is just so disgusting - she was in a position of trust and sent photos of her pupils to the man she was having a relationship with. Sounds like they are both a couple of pervs.

They should never teach again!! And people should know who they are so if they try for another job with kids again like has been happening when people are reoffending!

They won't be able to reoffend while working in any official capacity as they would have to be CRB checked if they tried to work with children again, even voluntary work. The conviction would mean they wouldn't be employed. My daughter went as a helper on my granddaughter's school trip and had to produce her CRB certificate (being a Brown Owl, of course, she has one - renewed every year) before they would accept her.

It's the ones who haven't been caught who are the problem.

The pair were both given six-month prison sentences, suspended for two years, and ordered to sign the sex offenders' register for seven years.

So the dirty little pervs didnt even get sent down...........my god what is the justice system coming to.....all this means is if they reoffend in the next 2 years they will be jailed ..but they both walk free...to maybe go onto something worse ...

It's frightening isn't it to think that a Primary Teacher could be lusting after your children and get away without punishment? OK they have lost their jobs but that really isn't enough is it?

It frightens me Willow my little girl is in reception class at the mo and I know she's trusting of everyone.

While I can understand the disgust things like this generate I think we should also bear in mind that 99.9% of primary school teachers are not like these two. No system is foolproof.
