Re: Petrol Prices

A few in my neck of the woods would be up for it especially as we are next to a refinery and fuel is dearer than places 5-10 miles away.

Angry Re: Petrol Prices

There is as much chance of a petrol boycott for one day as a snowball retaining its shape in hell.

Our government of whatever colour will do absolutely nothing about petrol prices until the cost prices the lower classes off the roads. Thus leaving them clear for the well heeled.

JB you are one hell of a cynic. Very true though.

Unhappy Re: Petrol Prices

I’m an optimistic pessimist or is that a pessimistic optimist?

I hope for the best from humanity but life has taught me to expect the worst in most instances.

We are too fragmented as a society to make any boycott anywhere near effective. Heck we can’t even get everyone to turn out once every few years to cast a vote so a petrol boycott has no chance.

However there is nothing like a chunk of healthy cynicism to enable one to survive the trials and tribulations of existing in this me, me, me, me, me society.

Re: Petrol Prices

lol at all these silly plans of revolution against the petrol companies

they know you will pay what they tell you to and you know it too

if you want to show your disgust do it at the elections, ime pretty sure if good old tony blair thought every motorist was going to vote against him he would crap himself and do somthing about it
