She's home!! We had to wait until early evening as the vet wanted to make sure that she could digest solids as well as water. She's a bit shaky and not having seen her since Friday, I can't believe how thin she has become. We have some special food for her which she needs to take in small doses at regular intervals. It's back to the vets tomorrow morning for more antibiotic injections and she's been grounded for the next week or so.
My daughter checked out the websites and advised a thorough cleansing of our apartment.........the vet agreed and we've been up to our elbows in disinfectant all day. The washing machine has been on all day too. All her toys had to be thrown out, but I did buy a couple of new ones for her and I'm sure she'll be interested in them soon. I'm so thankful.

i hope she is feeling better tomorrow bless her. it must be so heart breaking as our pets are like children to us. we have a spaniel he is nearly 10 yrs old and a big softy.
