mez cant ever agree with you more , all these little arse wipes think they know it all but they only get up to dance to the proper stuff. they dont know music as it should be they get up to our music and they say to you how do you know this?you tell them it was made for us! they only get up and dance when the good old 50s/60s come on.give them a break let them listen to crap!

Any time from 1979- 1987 is very nostalgic for me. Among my faves were Gary Numan, Soft Cell, Bauhaus, Yazoo and Blondie. I would also dance along to Haircut 100, ABC, Human League, Depeche Mode, Spandau Ballet and many more. You could say that I liked varied music. I was never much of a Durannie, but even they sound nostalgic now.

I jump over three periods 73-75 Mud, Glitter Band, Rubettes, Cockney Rebel, Slade and Sweet, then onto 76-79 punk,new wave, Rich Kids, XTC, Radio Stars, The Yachts and then 81-83 Ultravox!, Ultravox, Depeche Mode, Fad Gadget, ABC,... all those nights deciding what to wear for Wednesdays New Era...

I loved the jam in the mid 70s and still think paul weller is brilliant today.
also love david bowie and roxy musics early stuff.. had many a happy night at the loadstar in ribchester with all the new romantic era around 79/80..anybody else used to go? also i think the eagles are fantastic went to see them at the mcalpine stadium a few years ago on their "when hell freezes over" tour and they were amazing..
