Possible Problems in Queens Road West area

If you live in the Queens Road area please be very wary of some people in a white van, who are offering to trim the hedges on the grass verge outside your property. These verges are the responsiblty of LCC and if any householder agrees to have the hedges trimmed (or any other work done outside the boundries of their property), they risk action being taken against them by LCC.

I have just been speaking to councillor Malcom Pritchard and he is very concerned that some of the residents might agree to some work being done.

Re: Possible Problems in Queens Road West area

I think that Lancs folks are too 'canny' to agree to pay for gardening services outside their boundaries. If they aren't asking money for it I can't see why they are doing it. Maybe there is a shortage of Tarmac
