Power Cut?!
Anyone else have a power cut about 2hrs ago. Its just come back on. I noticed half of Union Road was out (at the bottom, near town hall) and all my street. Don't know how many of you there are around here, except Rindy & Gayle.
My computer does not like power cuts! lol.

Re: Power Cut?!
It was only a couple of hours, but it was really boring.
No brew, no computer, no radio, no heating.
At least I've finished reading the Sunday papers now.

Re: Power Cut?!
Luckily I had to take Harry to nursery, so that killed a bit of time. Then came back and read the papers.

My daughter lives on estate near bubble factory, one of her neighbours phoned her to say there was a power cut, (we had gone shopping ) by the time we got back to her place it was back on.

Re: Power Cut?!
One of my girls at work lives up near Franco's and she was going mad worrying about her iguanas; they need heat lamps. I suggested putting them on the gas on low for a while !

She's lucky - my son didn't get anything - there were no sandwiches left!
No power cut here either thankfully as washer, dryer, iron & stereo were all on!
