Did you sign up for that deal before 25th June 2012? That's when the restriction got added to their terms and conditions. If you signed up before then, you're exempt from the restriction.

We had one that affected some houses on the street. Luckily we are fed from the sub at the end of our street because ours is one of the last built. The older ones on the street are fed from a sub near merlin drive and every 3rd house was off for a while due to a fault. I have worked a bit with HV and distribution and was talking with the engineer looking for the fault. He said the drawings of this area are almost non existent and were lost years ago which makes it hard work with faults.

Wing and a prayer comes to mind
