Gay men and women have children. So why not these?

I can't believe you don't see any harm in this. How do you think the child will feel when it finds out that it's daddy was the one who gave birth to him/her. Kids have enough to deal with and this is enough to harm any child when they find out.

If it was me I wouldn't tell the child until they were old enough to fully understand. If I was the child it wouldn't bother me in the slightest as long as I had two parents who loved me and brought me up well, so what?? To be honest I'd just be happy to know my father, some of us haven't had that luxury in life.

Re: Pregnant Man????
I dont think that I agree or disagree with what they have done. My thought is how the child is going to take it when they are older and also how it will deal with the agro it WILL get when it is older

Well we will agree to disagree on this one. I find it hard to believe the child will not be affected.

No, every one doesn't have the right to be a parent, parenthood is a natural thing, for a 'normal couple'.
If however that couple are, 'not normal', and here I class normal to be male & female, A lesbian couple or a gay couple in all practicalities cannot produce a child, that is a sacrifice they must make to be accepted as 'normal' for them in my eyes.
If lesbians and gays can find love together fine I've no problem, when they introduce into that factor a child that has to grow up with 'artificial', parents then I'm sorry the couple are not being responsible, they are producing a living being to fulfil their needs, that is selfish.
Why are you angry? Is there something you are fighting for that you already know is wrong?

Re: Pregnant Man????
who are you to say whats 'normal'?
Being Gay does not take away their ability to have children or be good parents! in fact i know same sex couples that are fantastic parents, better than those that churn out children because they have nothing better to do then have them taken into care!
I am angry that yet again people are being small minded and showing prejudice!

Re: Pregnant Man????
This is one of those subjects that i think there is no right and no wrong answer for, each person has thier own view and opinions on what is right or wrong but neither persons views would be correct in the others eyes, its a no win argument!!

I'm sorry but that thinking is exactly why its taken so long for civil partnerships & gay couples being allowed to adopt. And quite frankly I think its pathetic!! Who are you to say how a couple, be they what you'd call "normal" or not, would be as parents??
So a "normal" couple who produce a child aren't fulfilling their needs are they not? And what about gay couples who adopt? Are they being selfish? They aren't giving a needy child a chance at a better life?
I know a gay couple (men) who have had a child, its one of the couples biologically, and they are two of the best parents I know. The child is happy, healthy and bright. And even at 5 years old understands that his family is a bit different.

Nothing I have said is against 'gays', all I'm against is the silly people that seem to think that same sex partnerships can and should produce children.
There are many gay couples that had 'normal' partnerships before they got together and they are still good parents, sometimes better than most. But once a person goes down the road of same sex relationships surely parenthood should not even be considered?
If it was natural, (same sex conception, not same sex, sex), then there would be teenage homosexuals getting caught out with unwanted pregnancies by experimenting just as 'normal', teenage couples are to this day?
