Problems at British Airways
Can anyone tell me why the management and unions seem so steadfast in destroying a once great airline , it seems every couple of months there are news stories about disruptions , lack of food, loss of passengers luggage etc.
As a national flag carrier BA is not just another airline it is also by extention a reflection of the countrys image , and at present it is not presenting a nice one.
I've used BA for nearly 40 years (infact it was BOAC in the early days) and they have allways had a reputation as a great airline, up in the top 5 along-side Lufthansa, Air France , Pan-Am and Cathay Pacific, all airlines with great safety records for the millions of miles flown .
Maybe there is a plot to shut the company down , and sell off the assetts to one of the many Russian billionaires who seem to prefer life in London than Moscow (wonder how so many of them manage to qualify for residence permits , since Russia isn't a member of the EU)
just my rant for the day
