Yes, children do often lie about these things, but then they'd learn the value of honesty then wouldn't they.

I've no idea why someone would say something, when they really belived the opposite, even if they gave the excuse that it amused them.
Then again I'm not unhinged, and count myself blessed, that like the majority of the population, I say what I actually mean, and people believe what I say as being the truth.

My kids did not have a graduation ceremony from nursery, thank God.
We do not have proms at our primary school as yet..........and I hope we never do.
I don't want to hear of any of it before leaving university ideally, and definitely not before leaving secondary school.
