The answer to that was no............The machines are used to track revenue through fare paying passengers..........bus passes are recorded on the machine so that the bus company can make claims to the controlling Council for repayment. Those figures are also used to determine what vehicle should be used on a particular route.
Children under three are not classed as fare paying passengers and therefore do not come into the equation.
If you have a situation where the bus company do count under threes on and off, it must be for internal use only and not recorded in fiscal terms.
