Re: Queen to visit Accrington in May.
just makes me wonder why. the view of her won't be great, you would probably get a better view if you loitered around Buck palace when an official event was on.

Re: Queen to visit Accrington in May.
Not many people can afford to travel out of Accy though.
Might aswell see her when she is on your doorstep.

Quite right, and thousands have today which is great news for all the shops in the town centre at the very least. I had a ticket for inside the Market Hall and it was a real honour to see Her Majesty in the flesh alongside Prince Philip.
Rows and rows of happy people cheering in the streets to see just one person, how often does that happen?
Count me in, I'll always be a royalist.

Count me in too ... and millions of other Canadians ... Recently, the Canadian Federal Government passed a law renaming the three arms of our armed forces ... in effect going back to what they used to be called: The Canadian Army, the Royal Canadian Air Force, and the Royal Canadian Navy ... I can understand folks not liking individual Royals ... but, a good hard look at governments all over the world shews, to me anyway, that constitutional monarchy is a stable, democratic, and effective form of government. The UK, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Belgium, the Netherlands, Japan etc. ... oh, and Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. It works ... it ain't broke; so, there is no need to fix it. And Elizabeth ll has done a damn fine job. All over the world she is respected. She is not just a Queen ... she is The Queen.

No problem with the Royalist's getting excited, it's their day, why do I find the vote catcher so puke making?
