Had a re-think Cashy - I was stationed at West Drayton at the time so in all probability it was '72 -'75

Re: queens pub church
'72-75 the Landlord was a chap who smoked a pipe and had a handlebar moustache..his surname was Fistwick (I think) and his son's first name was Roy. I had many a pint of Lion's finest Crystal in there..(burp).

Re: queens pub church
I'm trying to think where Barrie may have got confused over Asian landlords..it was certainly not the Queens. Maybe the Church Commercial or the Antley? Definitly not the Queens, Stag, Guns, Welly, Bridge, Tanpits, or Thorn. Maybe the one up Market St?

Re: queens pub church
So what was the name of the pub further up from the Gypo camp - the other side of the Con Club? It's now a tyre changing shop.
