What WOULD you like Willow to do about it Doug? I am sure she is open to suggestions as are the many millions of others in this country of all origins that are sick to the back teeth of quango's that dictate to us all on what we say, think or read.......

Willow is a little bit busy for the next month but if you want to start something, we will all support you when we can..........

What is so frustrating about this is that it has NOTHING to do with Asians, and for once, religion is not a factor...........but it is bloody WHITE faceless beurocrats that have nothing better to do than spend OUR money, given as grants on the understanding that they MUST spend, spend, spend! on useless or racist projects..........

With the forthcoming general election, not ONE party has pledged to get rid of these "chavs of the upper echelon" WHAT A SHAME!

Re: Racism

it could be a start if people were to make the case in the local press or something by refusing to buy lottery tickets until the funding is distributed sensibly, wether it would then spread is open to debate,as is would the so called local press take up the issue

Re: Racism

Unfortunately I miss the “we” out of my last post. It should have read “What are we going to do about it”.

I think you’ve already come up with the answer in some respects. You/we can do nothing and take it with a smile on our face’s or we can become more vocal and protest against this sh***. But like chav as said it is numbers that will make the difference. Lots of people, but one voice start locally and spread the word amongst other interested parties, get political and put the screws of you local candidates, because the bas****s will be screwing you for the next 4 years or so……if you’ve no voice, you have no say. Use you votes even if it is only to protest against your normal party at least you will have done something.

Just one positive and it is off thread. A young lad got his VC today. He’s not white, by the sound of it he isn’t English or it’s not is first language at any rate. I was proud to watch this lad get is medal and a little ****ed off that we didn’t get more information about how he won our highest military honour. If I ever have to put a uniform back on and face a hostile situation I would like that guy by my side.

Re: Racism

Like l've said before l have chosen not to play the lottery, so l can't complain when the so called good causes are as stupid as this blatent discrimination.

In answer to Chav's comment re: Spanish riots, looks like we're in for a long hot summer.

Re: Racism

Since the National Lottery was devised by the last Conservative government and has been plundered by the Labour government perhaps one of the ways that we might protest is by witholding our vote.

Greg Pope is currently defending a majority of just over eight thousand, he stands to have this majority cut at the very least. Sending Pope, Greene and Mawdsley a polite email to inform them of your intention to place your vote for one of their opponents, because of the way that their parties have allowed the National Lottery to be misused might be a start.

The imprtant thing is to tell them this is what you are going to do, otherwise your redirected vote will have no effect.

Here is a complete list of the candidates standing in the General Election,

Bill Greene Liberal Democrat
Chris Jackson British National Party
James Mawdsley Conservative
Greg Pope Labour
John Whittaker UK Independence Party

Of the five, the UK Independence Party seems to be the least likley to succeed at the polls and is perhaps the most socially acceptable choice for redirected votes, since the Liberal Democrats also voted with the government on the setting up and running of the National Lottery. A vote redirected to the BNP on this issue would seem to be defeating the object.

However whether you intend to vote or not, or for those of you who would rather not vote for UKIP, I would still advise sending a polite email to the candidate of your choice informing him of your irrevocable decision - How are they to know whether you actually carry out your threat or not?

The point is to let them know that you are not happy with the system.

Re: Racism

It is actually official Race Relations policy that it is impossible for a black/asian person to discriminate against a white person! It's news to me, I have seen it happen all too often. It is a sad and sorry state of affairs when treatment for an illness is withheld on such spurious grounds, and only serves to inflame racist feeling. This is how and why extremist views flourish. There was a tremendous outcry when BNP councillors were voted in in Blackburn and Burnley, but that was the result of a democratic election and simply serves to show what people are thinking and feeling.

We should all do something - I don't know that redirected votes will serve any useful purpose, but if enough of us protest, something just might get done. My local MP is Frank Dobson - a total sheep in sheep's clothing if there ever was one, but I am prepared to barrack him about this.

if you check with the europeon law you will find out that any colour is covered by the race relation policy. but our good friend tony blair and his band of merry men brought out a two tier law as to the on you have stated which says alot for are own mp's.which goes back to my last post this was brought out for his own wife who has made millions from this so called law.
