RIP Richard Pryor

Groundbreaking US comedian Richard Pryor has died at the age of 65 after a long illness. He died of a heart attack at his home in California's San Fernando Valley, according to his ex-wife, Flyn Pryor.
He had been ill for years with multiple sclerosis, a degenerative disease of the nervous system.
A series of hit comedies in the 1970s and 1980s - including Stir Crazy and Silver Streak - helped make him one of Hollywood's highest-paid stars.

RIP

Oh man no way that guy was a genius of comedy. I know he was ill but not that he was that bad. Again the film industry has lost a signing light. R.I.P

Re: RIP Richard Pryor

my favourite memory of him was when he lit a match and waved it about saying it was a quick impression of himself when he set his hair on fire and ran down the street high on drugs

he could even make fun of his lowest moments in his life as well as his highest

a very funny man

Why is it we lose the gooduns to illness so young? Hope they know what they have let themselves in for up top.
