Question Riverdance

As your probably aware of,The Riverdance ferry is washed up at Cleveleys.
Yesterday there were hundreds of packets of chocolate biscuits washed up on the sands,i know they were wet and unedible ,but what is the law about things thats washed up....

Historically you are entitled to salvage flotsam, just be careful dunking them in your tea.

Less than a month ago the BBC put up this article in response to that Devon wreck which was heavily scavenged

I've been washed up for years, I hope there is no law against it or I will have been operating illegally

I cant put some pictures on Accy Web any more ,,(cant think why!)so i changed my avatar to show you ,shame theres no microwave ovens,i nead a new one....
