Re: Ronnie Barker Dies.

He retired in the late 80's from entertaining us but everybody still knows him and still loves the shows he did like porridge and open all hours. I know its because of the repeats but they were good shows - porridge was the best well i think so. We are going to miss him.

Re: Ronnie Barker Dies.

I was very sad to hear about his death yesturday, and last night I watched an episode of Porridge that I must have seen 10 times before and it's still funny!!! Will there ever be another Ronnie Barker??? I doubt it very much!!!

Re: Ronnie Barker Dies.

I watched the special thing they did on Ronnie Barker last night.

He was a very very funny man................he always made me laugh and some of the things last night did too.

I remember watching the awards a couple of weeks ago, and I thought he looked very poorly then.

He was a amazing man, and so talented.............and it shows, I mean after years and years and years, they are still replaying old episodes of porridge and other shows.
