Re: round 2 of the euro meltdown

The part of Spain that I was in last week looked great - new tiled pavements were being laid, and quickly. There is a new town square being laid out in the small market town and dozens of palm trees were being planted. Stores and bars were busy and the local people looked happy and well-dressed - unlike Broadway this afternoon !

An island.

Not saying where.

We don't want the tranquility spoiling.

The good news is that the EU's economic woes will not affect Canada

The economic disaster that would affect all of us is that in the US.

You know BG, I really don't get all this ad hominem bs. The guy has a valid politcal, or ideological, viewpoint. It is one that I share ... well, nost of it anyway ... and one that elected 103 members of the Canadian Parliament. And if some are annoyed at his persistance and repetition; well, are not persistance and repetition the essence of political debate

I think the irritating bit is the fact that this memeber puts a one liner up with a link to some news/media source......and if by chance he does put more than that, his posts are without appropriate punctuation so the meaning is questionable. This may be a purposeful thing....if your meaning is unclear, you can always backtrack at some later point in the discussion.

I do not have any problems with someone holding differing ideological views, but this member is a pale version of a troll......posts contentiously to provoke a response.

This is just my personal opinion of the guy. You appear to be more gracious..perhaps it is grace lent by distance.

quite a few of my posts are one liners, which in my view negates the need fer me to waffle. as well as being sarcastically cutting. pmsl

Cashy, your posts are quite different.
You don't usually post contentious one liners, followed by a link to some news/media site.
