Re: Royal Wedding - The poll.
The net budget of the Royal Wedding celebrations in Hyndburn is earmarked as £15,000 which comes from the Cabinet Action Fund. In real terms this means that it could cost more than this but offsets from revenue generated by the event should balance the final figure out at no more than £15,000.
Enjoy.

Blimey.
Hardly the 'austerity wedding' the happy couple themselves hoped it would be.
Many local couples will have spent much less than that on their own wedding day, and that'd include cake, photographer, dresses, reception, and a honeymoon.

Don't worry about the honeymoon; Canada is taking care of that

Cheers.
There will be some savings for you, as the couple will not require new sheets, after their first marital night trogether, apparently.

Since it was reported that Hyndburn's royal wedding celebration will be centred around the Market Hall, with this generous budget, can we expect to see the return of Aldo Zilli, back to do some regal nibbles?

How times change.
Thirty years ago Lady Diana Spencer's uncle, publicly proclaiming her purity, which would ensure the royal bloodline.
Cut to the present day. A royal bride-to-be, who's already played house with someone before Wills, and the bride's uncle more known for snorting coke in his Spanish villa, than making statements about young womens' virginity.
