Russian Rumble
OK Boys and Girls it is time to keep our eyes on our nutty neighbors to the east.
Vlad's good friend seems to have had enough of him. Mr. Prigozhin stopped by the Hertz Rent a Tank office in Ukraine and is now on a run north towards Moscow. A lot can happen on such a long road trip especially with the kinds of toys these boys have at their disposal. Whatever news coming out of there will become less reliable and more distorted (If that is even possible) Stay alert because Russian instability is seldom a good thing. -Joe |

It might sound like a solution to the Ukraine War situation….remove Vlad and everything can go back to normal.
There are reports that Putin has high tailed it to a secret location. The overthrow of the Russian government is a worry. If it comes to that. We do not know who would be the successor to Putin. It could be someone even more ruthless. Not that I know anymore than you do about Russian Politics.

In most of my experience with the Russians I have found them to be very practical.
They don't do a lot of hypothetical worrying. They prefer to deal with "What is" rather than fret over "What if?" Most of the average population has lived under some form of oppression for multiple generations. They have learned to keep their head down and their mouth shut, following orders and directives (Not necessarily to the best of their abilities) You wont see much marching in the street. At least not until their sons are getting sent off to slaughter in a conflict that they did not ask for with someone who presented no threat to the Motherland. Mr. Putin might just have gone "A bridge too far" As for Mr. Prigozhin, he looks like an even bigger nut job. Think "Gordon Ramsay with an army" or worse, "Gordon Ramsay with Nukes" |
