Thing is with insurance SamF is that they are not sexist/racist at all .. all about statistics/risk factor, and value for money. It is a proven fact that women have less larger accidents (have smaller ones 'cause they carry children more and distracted). Competition is rife, so less risk in offering smaller premiums to women. Just like if you live in Manchester as against Oswaldtwistle,less risk of car crime; if it could be assessed that coloured people have more/less, then this would be a factor too ... etc. Same as higher premiums for people under 21.
Just business.
Don't know whether you are married or not, but should be pleased that your spouse should be offered lower premium ..
