Shoot out in Hassy

Man shot by police in Haslingden (From Lancashire Telegraph)
Strange this hasn't been picked up on here before now, I saw it in the Sunday nationals and have just looked on the LT web site. Its getting worse, armed shoot out on Blackburn Road. Jen as our Haslingden corespondent where've you been

We went to Manchester yesterday...on the bus. There were at least 10 police vehicles surrounding the Supermarket....this was just after 9am.
When we were coming back, round about 3pm the place was crawling with SOCO's doing a finger tip search so we knew there must have been something serious going on.
It was on the BT newspage last night and also on Sky news.

noticed it sat morning, police shoot a suspected armed robber, so what i say,whatever happened he wasn't goin to Toys R Us fer the kids.

I notice it is the Co-op AGAIN, i, like Accylass and a few more on here, worked, or work for the company, it always seems to be the Co-op that is highlighted and very rare hear of other stores being arm robbed.

GMP had apparently been monitoring the suspects and was waiting in the co op car park for them.shame one of the officers is now under investigation for shooting one

if the person shot was carrying a gun or a knife it serves them right I say they should be shown why they should not carry/use dangerous weapons

i am still trying to get over the fact that someone from haslingden managed to pull teh trigger without actually shooting themselves but then again it is a 50/50 chance they point it the right way or were these lads from out of town ?

ive just started a relationship with a blind woman !Its quite rewarding but quite challenging ! it took me ages to get her husbands voice right
