There are places a lot worse than Accy.

I've lived, and been to most places in the UK, but there is something special about this place. It has it's problems, like everywhere does, but the people, the countryside and all it's stone buildings mean I love it.

Cumbernauld makes even Port Glasgow look pretty. The whole town is built of concrete. Accy is Eden.

I think Accy is ok, HBC could do a lot more to attract buisnesses, good shops etc, but the people have to take some of the blame, there are people who care for their community and people that dont and its the latter that give the town a bad name.

I chose to come and live here so it is the place I wnat to be but I am not blind to its faults.
Every one talks about the shops but can someone tell me why the number of stall holders in Accrington outdoor market has reduced.
