With the governments new policy on crime of sitting back and watching criminals do their thing i suppose we do have too many police officers

I'm not going to vote 'cause it's none of my business how many cops you have. But there seems to be a common thread to tory claims. They deliver better policing by cutting billions from the police budget. They deliver better health care by slashing away at the NHS. The provide better defence of the realm by hacking away at the military budget. They provide better access to university by boosting the fees. No doubt, they will increase productivity and provide more jobs by cutting corporate taxes. Sounds like the "coalition" government has been listening to the platforms of the Tea Party

the 2 that voted yes must have some criminality in mind looks like we are heading for a crime rise in figures you may call labour but they did reduce crime and i can remember the difference.

As long as those numbers are the sick, lame & lazy who bring no productive benefit to the force, the unnecessary levels of management (enforcing red tape & hindrances) again with no active or of dubious value. Replace "PCSO's who's usefulness I still maintain is negligible for "Proper" Coppers who can enforce the law in it's entirety so therefore far more cost effective & of value.

Those are the places to cut, but not Bobbies on the beat.
