Thought it was about time to throw these into the mix...
Local History | MORECAMBE Morecambe & the Coast Morecambe may not be everyone's cup of tea but it suits us and we have to be here for my partner's job so... It suffers from the same sort of problems as Accy but for different reasons, and from being an add-on to Lancaster which is where all the funding goes. Still we do have the most glorious sunsets and the view across the bay to the Lakeland mountains - which you can see from our house. For a fab picture look at the avatar for Morecambe expat which shows the Yacht Club HQ on the prom... just round the corner from us. Of course anyone looking at the view from the back of our house might say that we overlooked the dead centre of Morecambe... Sorry couldn't resist putting the cat in - just for you Di! |

Osnabrück - twinned with Derby (Just down the road from where we are now in Bramsche) Where I spent many a year & we still visit regularly for meals, evenings out & visiting friends.
