shut that door
New Doors .....
What a total waste of money and electricity.... automatic doors on the arndale centre:
The money would have been better spent on mats, to stop you breaking you neck when its wet: That floor is flipping lethal:
The doors are open most of the time because of the volume of people.... so totally pointless:

Re: shut that door
after all these years they decide to put doors on? WHY? half the shops are shutting in there anyway, i reckon they should pull the arndale down and sort out some decent shops

Re: shut that door
We were on our yearly pilgrimage paying homage to the ghost of Accrington past and taking a few pictures of the Christmas bulb. I was hoping to get some shots of the Christmas tree and crib outside the Market Hall but the crib seems to have been forgotten.
Is it somewhere else these days?
I put the camera on the floor to allow for a long exposure. (A long exposure in Accrington town centre - I do miss the fun Saturday's of yesteryear)
