Sign

My friend sent me a photo of the church which I got married in 21 years ago.
But what spoils the picture, you've guessed it, some joker has the infinate wisdom to stick a sign in the ground telling dogs not to fowl there. Now if your a stray dog I don't think you will be able to read the sign. If your a responsible dog owner I'am sure you will clean up,so that only leaves irresponsible owners which are not going to take a blind bit of notice,so that gets me to my point are some signs worse than the message they're trying to impose. I remember going to another scenic place somewhere and there were signs all over telling people not to litter, so like your can go round all day throwing rubish, then has soon has you come to a sign you'll stop, get real !
If I lived back in England I would be tempted to go back to that church one night and have a dump next to the sign just for spite.

Re: Sign Nazi's

Which church is that? It looks a bit like the church where I got married, many moons ago.

Re: Sign

Wonder if the flag was for St. George/England or for the footie ? Well, must be Church of England, I suppose.

Which poses a question. Would the Catholic churches be flying the Italian flag then ?

Re: Sign

A friend once told me that they went to Disney land a few years ago and they couldn’t believe how many warning sign there were. Warning signs like; please mind your head, please mind the step, slippery surface etc. I can only presume it’s to do with insurance claims and I hope it never gets that bad here other wise we’d have signs everywhere.

A bloke over here got dumped by a big wave, he was trying to sue the local council for not warning him, there was talk that we might have to put up signs on every beach,
