Like I said the Coppice was the wrong place for a major sculpture, it's too isolated as a hill, and too dominating a feature in the town, and yes already naturally beautiful.

This tree, set in this landscape, in my opinion looks great. I'd be the first to slag it off if I genuinely thought it was crap, as it would in my backyard because of it's size.

Thought the bespectacled, bald, willow man I've had built in my yard, ready for the grand fire ceremony on New Year's Eve looks great.

I'm sorry I just think they're all a monstrosity, from the stupid bees on the roundabout at that place up the road to the rusty owd Angel of The North. Let a natural beauty be exactly that IMHO!
