Re: SKY Tv
i have had problems with Sky and BG.
I once informed Sky that I was terminating my contract as I was moving house temporarily where there was no landline. 5 months later they contacted 'me' through the contact details I had left them which were for a place of work that I no longer worked at, and asked 'me' if I wished to go back. 'Me' said yes and the service was resumed with funds coming out of bank via the direct debit details I had given them years earlier before I terminated my contract. It took 4 months before I noticed the direct debits and the overdrawn fees I had been charged on occasions when the funds weren't in to pay this bill that I hadn't expected. I eventually got my money back through the bank, who in turn were re-imbursed by Sky. Sky then spent 18 months trying to get me to court to retrieve the money they had to pay my bank. I informed them that they had never spoken to me, on the date and time they rang me at a place of work that I no longer had access to and I had Alarm Monitoring Company proof that those premises were empty, locked and vacant from 3 hours earlier than the time of the call until 40 hours later. They also had not asked for an account password when re-activating the account when they had always asked me for one even if I was ringing to pay them. And, why did they still have my bank details on file 5 months after I had cancelled my contract? Surely this is breach of the Confidential Data Act?
And don't get me started on those b@s!@rd, ****ing ****s at ****ing British Gas
