I actually think its a thread of interest Mancie, seeing its plastered over every news channel and every newspaper, mostly the broad sheets, not just a private little project by Andrew

Re: StarGate
He just can't find it in him to say sorry can he. He knew exactly what sort of person he hand picked to be a special adviser, whom worked in the same office as him. McBride worked as Brown's media advisor last year, he was found out to be briefing against one of the governments own ministers, lots of pressure was placed on Brown to ditch him, instead he put him in charge of strategy.

It was his hand picked special advisor and attack dog. He was hired to do this sort of thing. When it's somebody in his own office on the desk next to him, he should apologise. What goes out of that office, from offical downing street e-mail addresses, does so in the name of Gordon Brown. When you have a team you have to take responsibility for it. The story would have lost its legs yesterday if he'd have just said sorry. It's the hardest word for him though.

Re: SmearGate
I don't see the fuss with this story. There are hundreds of little maggots working for all parties cultivating defamatory stories. To think there's just this one person working for one party would be idiotic.

Re: SmearGate
To me, the power of political debate has to be arguing the point raised without personally attacking the person raising them.
Cashy, out of all your posts on this, you have double the amount attacking andrew, rather than sticking to topic.
From a man who usually can give valid arguments without resorting to this kind of thing, I've got to admit to being pretty disappointed
