Re: Snow Ploughs

By the way, as it seems that you guys are shut in because of a little, light snow, why not settle down and watch tonight's Gold Medal game in the World Junior Hockey Tournament. Canada vs USA ... should be a barn burner; the last one went to a shoot out. Beats the hell out of shovelling or hibernating.

Nice of you to offer ... there's a couple of feet of the stuff in my driveway you can work on ... and when the driveway is shovelled, feel free to brush the snow off my car I'm off for a beer, the snow shovel is on the front porch.

Re: Snow Ploughs

I heard on the radio that Blackburn with Darwen had completely run out of grit as of today but had a lot more due for arrival. Obviously doesn't concern us but obviously more than Lancashire being hit by lack of salt..

Typical, just 'cos he's God's son and gets a few wise men calling Jesus is given priority over the rest of us.

Talk about special treatment!

If the press get to hear of such nepotism they'll crucify him.

See the gritters quite regularly on Burnley Road, but they just whip by, don't do any gritting
