Soldier's Homecoming

Duke of Lancaster's Regiment in Homecoming Parade tomorrow in Burnley.
Hope hundreds turn out to show support for these lads.

I am attending as Mayor of Hyndburn - Church Service at St. Peter's, Burnley followed by Civic Lunch at the Mechanics.

Are they going to be able to get all the soldiers in for the civic lunch in one sitting or will it be staggered?

The soldiers were all there for the lunch but some on my table said they were disappointed their families weren't invited to either the church service or the lunch.

yuo would have thought familes would be invited along it is after all who these soldiers are returning to

ive just started a relationship with a blind woman !Its quite rewarding but quite challenging ! it took me ages to get her husbands voice right

Went yesterday, found it very emotional. Makes one very proud to be British. All the military are heroes in my book.
