Some very sad news
A little while before Christmas, Kitchener asked members to give their views on what to do about celebrating Christmas.
His lovely wife Yvonne was in the hospital.
There were many helpful suggestions and in the end we thought it was sorted...that Yvonne would get home for Christmas.
That did not happen, but the gentleman that is Kitchener felt he could not tell Accywebbers this as it might put a 'downer' on their celebrations.
Well to cut a long story short(and Gerard I hope I am doing you justice here)
Yvonne sadly passed away Peacefully on the 18th of January.
Some of you may have seen the obituary in the Observer last Thursday.
It is the funeral today at 12.20 at Accrington Crematorium.
I am sad to have to relay this news...and I send the family my heartfelt sympathy.
Rest in Peace Yvonne...if love could have saved you, you would not have died.
Mx
