I was under the impression that small Town Canadian banks still traded with trappers for their furs,a little old fashioned ... but that`s what they are

That list of banks ranking is meaningless e.g Ireland number 11 Who`s banking system as just recently been uncovered to be one of the most corrupt.By the way,hope the prediction for growth in your economy is correct

I am originally from Britain, and I'm proud of it ... but I am Canadian .... I've lived in Canada for 42 years, and I am not ashamed to admit that I'm proud to call myself a Canadian ... and I don't need a dictionary, because I have a brain .... and whatever impression you are under about Canadian banks, I suggest you get out from under it ... and the Bank of Canada is as conservative in its predictions as Canadian banks are in their lending policies.

From the sound of it you don't sound very integrated in your chosen homeland of Ireland.

I'd have thought you'd have been embraced with open arms, being an intellectual, to counteract the accusation that they are at the bottom of the world's thick list.
