Re: southport

Morecambe is just the same not so bad up the top end though near Eric. Went to the seaside last week when it was really sunny and the place was booming with tourism. The beach and water are clean, people were having a really good time and it just seemed a shame that the whole place couldn't have an injection of money and community work to help make it what it used to me again.

I've not been to southport for a very long time, but it sounds like it is in a similar state and could use the same sort of TLC.

Re: southport

The biggest problem for Southport is the fact that there is no motorway connection, the Rainford bypass was going there but never arrived, the Skem one leaves you the wrong side of Ormskirk and the M65 ends in a cabbage field instead of going through to the A59

Doesn't Morecambe have that same problem?
