Stamp Charges

Interesting to see the row over stock-piling of first class stamps to beat the forthcoming price hike.

Surely the Royal Mail foresaw this happening when they moved from putting the actual value of the stamp on it, to just 1st class or 2nd class. This move was presumably to save money on printing costs.

Strikes me the Royal Mail wants it both ways!

Re: Stamp Charges

I was listening to radio 4 last night and they were talking about the stamps going up.

They think there are a lot of small corner shops, which sell stamps, buying in bulk and holding on to them until the price goes up.
