Suggestions Welcome

The ups and downs of puppy training. There seems to be a glimmer of hope that Clio knows the word 'NO' but is completely deaf to her own name! She loves wires, a real danger in our house, shoes, 'im indoors fault as he gave her one to play with on day one, feet, strange one that, and the newspaper which she is expected to pee on!

I confess to be rather muddled myself about toilet training. Our front door leads into the complex. Not a good idea to train her to poo and pee in the passages and I doubt that the other residents will appreciate newspapers down the stairs! Should I place the newspaper there or beside the balcony doors? Help!

Re: Suggestions Welcome

If you keep using her name when you talk to her, or just stroke her and repeat her name she will eventually get used to the idea that that sound refers to her.
