My plan is to either eat ham that is cured or at the very least reformed.

Can't give top line on it but you would be looking at closed shops and empty high streets, places like Arndale centres first.

The 'alternative medicine way' to defeat disease is to have a body in which all body systems are functioning as they should.
That is achievable by avoiding toxic input and eating nutritionally.
When disease has struck it means that there is inbalance in the system - which can be helped by correcting nutrition and reducing toxicity.

A healthy body is more able to resist attack

Pharmacutecals are toxins designed to mask unpleasant symptoms, but they do not cure the problem. Where pain and inflammation are the symptoms they can slow down the body's own healing capacity and make 'getting better' more endurable mentally and so can be said to be assisting healing, but the aim should always be to restore a body to proper function.

PS sad to say, but some have got past the point of recovery

That is the biggest load of Gollocks I have ever read.
When I got Asian Flu I was eighteen and as fit as a butchers dog.
I am now nearing seventy and like a good boy I am allowed a free flu jab.
I sincerely hope, at your age you have taken advantage of the same precaution.

Re: swine fever.

So your body was fit enough then to repair itself =good.

One of the lovely side effects of the nutritional healing I am doing on myself,
is heightened awareness of my 5 senses (discarded hearing aid)
and my incapacity to get angry

I have no intention of ever having a vaccine again, for reasons which I think you would not understand.

Each to their own, Margaret - I go for my flu jab every year, and I'm grateful that I was immunised against smallpox, diphtheria, polio, whooping cough, etc. etc.

My daughter has just had the last of her course of 3 vaccinations against HPV which can cause cervical cancer. I put her thru that because I think in the long term it's worth it, I am glad I had my vaccines when younger and am glad that I got my daughter vaccinated with the MMR jab, neither of us have been ill, neither of us have had any real health problems. These vaccines are rigorously tested, but each to their own, just wondering though Margaret, what's your stance on the contraceptive pill and the depo jab? Should we be avoiding them and use more traditional methods?
Do you think they do more harm than good?

Re: swine fever.

I am not at all convinced that this strain of flu is any worse than any we've seen in the past. Royboy and I both got the Asian flu in 1957 - it was a killer - any flu is a killer. It's the fact that so many people think a heavy cold is flu that means, when a strain of real flu comes along, it takes them unawares and scares them half to death.

Those of us who have lung problems have an annual vaccination. We have it because flu can kill. People should stop panicking and take normal, sensible precautions because the virus will only spread through carelessness.

never had one and never will no matter how many letters my doctor sends asking me to have it because .

A: everyone i know thats had the jab feels like crap for weeks afterwards

B: even if it works your only protected from the actuall flu virus its made to protect you from your still vulnerable to the other types/strains of flu

C: the ones given out in october/november wont protect you from swine flu which takes me back to point B

the way i see it is that if your gonna get flu your gonna get it and apart from living in isolation theres not much you can do to avoid it

I have had cervical cancer - caught early - cured by surgery (at age 32)
I also took the contraceptive pill for seven years prior to that.
I do not know whether or not those facts are related.

The concept of a vaccine to prevent any illness is a good one BUT unfortunately vaccines have traces of mercury which is toxic and when toxicity reaches a level where it interrupts proper functioning of body processes other illness manifests itself.
