T.V. licence.

why do we keep paying it ? bbc 1 & bbc 2 vast majority repeats just to pay overrated people like wogan & woss in over paid jobs let us all stop paying then see what happens.

yeah lets all stop paying and then get in debt due to the high fines they set....i'll keep paying mine for now ta very much

Never happen, many said they would not pay the poll tax, which was a damn site more money than tv licence, they jailed a few pensioners......everybody paid up.

If you dont like it then just stop watching it at the same time it is broadcast.

Get a hard drive recorder, watch dvd's - videos etc instead then you wont need a license.

Although I think he only good thing the BBC does these days is the news & historical drama's.

not entirely acurate

some paid up and others rioted and trashed london which lead to poll tax been abolished

also some peopel mad elife hard for teh council by paying with cheques superglued to car doors and various other items or paying in loose change lol

happy days

its a pitty a large mob dosnt riot at the bbc and wreck the place to see if it does any good lol

ive just started a relationship with a blind woman !Its quite rewarding but quite challenging ! it took me ages to get her husbands voice right

Well by the time I reach 75 the BBC will have been sold off, telly will be a single infostation run by the govenment to keep us misinformed mind numbinglybored and subdued.

So apart from the loss of the Beeb the remainder will be as it is now.

After ITV's losses (and deteriorating programme qualities) of £105 million due to loss of advertising revenue, they now may start to consider charging a licence fee... who knows ? Take a look at Murdoch's thoughts.

You have all grumbled about your licence fee in the past, but are still paying for watching commercial channels in consumer goods. Television advertising is expensive and will be passed on to the consumer for goods bought off the shelf so to speak.
