Lol, I got that one yesterday.
It went straight in the recycling sack, along with the rest of them.

Re: take aways
We got the halal chinese one as well.I scratched my head at first but chinese muslims there must be,as when we were on holiday we found jewish turks, which also seemed odd.Lets hope China does'nt get into cahoots with muslim extremists..."Yo menu velly good,we will give you 18 millyon sauders an nucear bomb" Getting carried away there.
Yes the takeaway menus popping through the letterbox is getting out of hand & usually go straight into the sack.We have our favourites for each kind of takeaway & only tend to keep theirs.

Re: take aways
LOL ... was thinking the very same thing Pam as yet another dropped through my letterbox yesterday. This one is for 'Santa's' on Abbey Street in Accrington. They have three other branches. Not sure if run by muslims, but the name would be slightly a contradiction wouldn't it ...
Do they operate all year round I wonder ?

How many takeaways have opened and closed in Accrington in the last ten years. Three on Church St, that I've seen.
If their pushing leaflets thro letter boxes then business is going downhill. There are only a finite number of people who eat takeaways, and too many takeaways vie-ing for that market.
They never learn.
I'd have to be really starving before I would order one.
You could collect them like cigarette cards, they may be the antiques of the future.

Re: take aways
We get several takeaway menus through our door every week.....most sound quite putrid and are littered with spelling mistakes.
I don't get many takeaways but when I do I always use The Caspian in Ossy, their pizzas are very nice, they've got a good reputation and the place always looks clean.

Re: take aways
The only take aways I use, (and they deliver) is the Canton Chinese in Dill Hall Lane and very occasionally Rino's in Ossy, they're both quite good and give value for money.

Re: take aways
Definately Kwong Ming for Chinese...best in Accy by a mile and has been for years. Like Akash and Mitali for Indian...and had a couple of Kebabs from Caspian last week...my first Kebabs in about 3 years, and they were very good.
Best Regards - Taggy
