Well I was determined not to go out today and therefore, hopefully, avoid anything bad happening but, I might have known it would find me anyway - half of the glass in me back door shattered this morning - don't tell me Friday 13th is no different to any other day

Apparently it's cheaper to get married on Friday 13th as this is a date that very few people want for their wedding day due to superstition.This also applies to 1st of April.It seems that people don't want to get married on April Fools day either so if you're not superstitious and choose one of these two dates for your wedding you could save a substantial amount of money at the venue.

Piece on the radio earlier that Insurance companies have produced research indicating that there are higher instances of road accidents on Friday the 13th than on nay other date. Driving round South Yorkshire today would seem to be borne out.
