Agree, but if the Numbnuts had,had it shifted when it was soft n not frozen solid, i wouldn't have as much reason to slag em off.

There is a point to cleaning off exess snow ... when the warming trend comes along, as it will (like here, next week

) the less snow around on the sidewalks, the quicker they will melt clean. They should also be blading the snow, and trucking it out to some convenient dump.

It is then trucked out to snow dumps. Kingston is an old city, well it is in Canadian terms, and the streets are narrow; so the snow can't be left at the side of the road for Spring to deal with. They quit at about 6:00 am so that they don't interfere with the morning commute. It's effective, and minimally disruptive. It is, however, expensive.

mybe if we got enough snow to justify it but despite what the media would have us believe we havntreally had that much snow although it does seem to have been enough to bring the country to its knees
