No chance of a repeat of the blockades by the owners of the haulage companies along with farmers and countryside alliance.. they are the backbone of tory support.

I used to buy it for 40 cents a gallon ... guess all that shows is how old I'm gettin' But I was driving a '69 Dodge Charger with a 383 Magnum, six pack of carbs, headers ... that beast would pass anything but a gas station ... so the cheaper the better when you are getting about 12 miles to the gallon.

even if they wanted to tony blair made it an act of terrorism. Its amazing what that guy got away with under fear of terrorism. No one stripped us of basic democracey when the IRA struck multiple times yet a set of towers gets demolished in america and all of a sudden removing the right to protest becomes Tony Blairs main concern to battle terrorism

The blockade of fuel was against the law long before blair..it's been inplace for at least a 100yrs ..the blair government were afraid to impose the law because of public opinion ..the law was extended by thatcher early 80's before the miners strike by outlawing secondary picketing of fuel depots and fuel distributors.

BBC News - Drought conditions confirmed in parts of Yorkshire.
Tykes have been seen queuing at taps. God says extra deliveries will be made next week.
Francis Maude says 'If you are passing through Lancashire fill up a jerry can but in the meantime don't panic and carry on sharing baths'
