I read about the UK slipping back into recession ... And this ham-fisted action of the government over a potential work stoppage! Why don't they just do as other slime ball right wing governments do: wait for the strike to start and then pass back-to-work legislation pdq. But tv footage of line-ups, perhaps the odd fight, and empty gas stations is much more entertaining than some talking head mentioning that there will be a 0.03% shrinkage in the G.D.P. over the next quarter.

Stock piling fuel is dangerous.....and stupid as a strike hasn't happened yet. It just shows how many drivers are either selfish , stupis or perhaps even a bit of both. Can't they see that their actions are creating the problem that they want to avoid, and creating lots of lovely extra dosh for the government?

You work close to home, many of us have had to follow our work and now drive quite a way to work each day. I need to do 650 miles between now and thursday.

It is a terrible thing that has happened to her but you have to be a complete idiot to pour petrol from one container to another inside your house, she was doing it in the kitchen while using the cooker.

i wondered if she had the cooker on while doing it but couldnt be bothered looking up teh story to be honest

i just put it down under "thinning of the herd"

as terrible as it is stupidity played a huge factor in it happening if the cooker was lit at the time as well as playing with petrol indoors which is bad enough regardless of the cooker situation.

as much as i despise cameron and he cant be held resposible for individuals stupidity
