Tax rebate

BBC NEWS | Business | Millions due to gain tax rebate

Just seen this on the bbc website.

It doesnt affect me but for all of those who work and eligible for it thats why you getting an extra £60

New tax measures come into force this month that should see about 22 million people receive a rebate of around £60

This is 'compensation' for the 10p fiasco earlier this year
So belatedly giving back what shouldn't have been taken

Well I won't be getting any, but £120.00 will help those in need, not much of course, but in a little way.
Shame we cannot have a decent government that can sort out our taxation system out, so those at the very top, the Al Fayhed's, Ambromovich's etc pay a fair rate of tax, instead of the evading and making deals to pay little or no tax at all.
In fact it would be nice to see a Government introduce a flat rate of say 25% to all, with no exceptions, no loopholes, no deals, no work abroad etc... then everyone would pay the same and of course the rich would have no need to evade tax. But a fair taxation scheme would never happen in the UK or anywhere else.
