Good for you Mel that you take advantage of free sports and holidays but do you know who is paying for them? Please do not take offence, my poison arrows are not pointed at you, they are aimed at Social Workers and the like that manage to cream money from the government so that they can indulge themselves as demi-santas.

As you have read from comments by us "wrinklys" as children, we were not offered any of these facilities. Scout troop, School, Youth club......all offered holidays and EVERY penny was given by parents or raised with jumble sales and fetes!

At a time when money cannot be found for new drugs that come on the market, expensive operations are limited or refused,huge funds are made available to the politically correct beurocrats to "keep children off the streets!"

Government priorities are completely wrong

my grand daughter (who lives with me) has been on several of the same things as you mel, & she has had some great times the only thing i can say is im jelous i only wish some of our generation could have enjoyed your priveliges
