The latest 'gossip' (and I do emphasise gossip), is that the plan to build a new Tesco at Great Harwood has been sold to Morrisons, as they wish to expand ! Can understand why Tesco would not wish to go in there now ... what with Aldi/Morrisons and Whiteheads all on the same route. This would then make sense for Tesco to be looking at Clayton. All speculation of course.

Has that Morrisons in Accrington opened yet? See they are applying for signage.
