I wasn't talking about you ducking the issue, Jay, I was just making a wry comment on the irony of you accusing someone else of being "incoherent" with a phrase which bears only a passing resemblance to the English language.

Well it's only a few months off the local elections , Cashman .

In last year's I got a four page leaflet from a candidate in Spring Hill ward . It took him all four pages just to tell me that the roads would be gritted this winter .

I think the time is right now for the councillors to give us some policies that would be implemented if their party had control of the council . I don't me stuff about grit , the market , Tesco etc. I am talking about the big issues like how they would deal with the cuts , with redundancies , with real attempts to create jobs .

We have a right to know this . How can we make a decision otherwise ?
